Teppo Numminen signed another year with Buffalo Sabres

The NHL veteran Teppo Numminen agreed to terms with Buffalo Sabres to play yet another year at the very top level of ice hockey.

Teppo is rewriting hockey history in every game he plays in the new season as he will be pushing the european trained player record forward night after night.

The past season ended with a total of 1314 NHL regular season games, if everything goes well, and Teppo finishes yet another season with close to 80 games played,
he will be closing in on 1400 NHL games. Something he never dreamed about when signing for the first time with the Winnipeg Jets.

"The past two years have been fantastic with the Sabres as the team has performed extremely well. This past season drew out to the break of summer when Sabres
played in the semi-finals against Ottawa Senators late May. Naturally it was very dissapointing to lose that series, hence not making it to the Stanley Cup finals, but overall
the feeling after such a season is very positive.

When Sabres offered contract for yet another season, it was quite easy to come to terms with the management, after all, I'm still in great shape, love to play and my
family is well settled to Buffalo."
